anyway, big updates.

i am now in manila! wooohooooo! it is warm and sticky and nowhere near 15 deg F. and that is good. i couldn't say the same for paul though who is still in fun-but-probably-close-to-freezing columbus ohio. so send some warmth his way okay? also time change is kicking my behind but i am starting to deal by taking midday power naps.

okay, so i'm here and so is the dress, which is kind of a big deal since i had to carry it through four airports and three plane changes. it was really easier than i thought and worried it would be. yey for plane closets and nice flight attendants.

also, first day here, the mission was to finalize plans with venue/caterer/florist, which it just so happens is one er, entity. i could not imagine having meetings with different suppliers for different stuff could be easy so i was happy we went with just one place doing all three. it still took a whooping 4 hours to get everything figured out but that also included food tasting which was way fun.

yesterday was trial make-up day. i am guessing it turned out well since everyone kept saying "wow, you look so much better!". which of course makes me wonder how bad i looked before the make-up but the make-up person really has nothing to do with that. so i hired her and the hair guy as well.

other than that, been trying to not make us bankrupt as well which should be possible :) . . . and eating lots of missed pinoy foods. yesterday i had my first mango in two years! needless to say it was heavenly. . . must realy stop eating too much but dress is "adjustable" so why bother? really? should i?

so that's that. will try to get paul to post when he gets here. or before.
